About Me
I started out developing websites with GeoCities and Angelfire back in High School. After graduating I did a stint in the Army where I found my love for cooking and travel. I went on to culinary school, worked as a chef, and managed several restaurants over the years. Although I love working in a kitchen with my hands, my true interest was in using software while managing restaurants: creating complex excel spreadsheets for calculating food cost, P&L statements, Programming POS systems to add in daily specials, using inventory management software to order the right ingredients, and designing menus and flyers for special events. I eventually found my way back to programming and I now develop email marketing campaigns for a retail-focused magazine using HTML and CSS, and I freelance as a web developer and designer for my clients.
